Happy New Year!! Well I’m a little late but I have finally finished my New Years resolutions, have you. I’ve learned over the years that if you aim to high, your bound to fall. Well I’ve set my sights low this year. I’m hoping that by listing my resolutions in this post, I’ll be able to look back at them next year and see how I’ve fared.
1. Work smarter not harder. After 15 years at the repair bench I have decided to spend more time on Facebook and Twitter (during work hours of course) talking to other folks and getting ideas on how to be more productive at work with less effort.
2. When in doubt, ask for advice. No matter what I think, that “Rocket ship” shaped ring is not going to sell in Apex or any other town no matter how cool it looks. It’s best when Ginny and I shop for the jewelery store together. She keeps me away from the pieces that are so ugly that they’ll be around till the day I die, and I’ll be buried with them.
3. Have more fun! That’s a given and should be on every one’s list.
We are looking forward to some fun this year at our store. Ginny and I have lots of new exciting things planned to make 2010 a year to remember.
